Something to cheer you up.

Well it was a not so happy evening for our football team, but we sure hung in there in spirit.  So with that same good ol' Irish spirit, I am working hard in the kitchen with some more scrumptious cupcakes. 

It's Awesome Apple done and dusted for my special order and almost time for White Choc Raspberry to be decorated, once it comes out of the oven.

I'll be super busy for the rest of the day but perhaps later tonight I'll be able to watch a bit of Sweden vs England, and cheer my family in Sweden on.

Lucky Thursday!

Thursday is the start of my prep for the weekend, and it's always a busy day.  I go and do all my shopping, which takes way longer than you'd think.  It's amazing how there is not one store which has all the ingredients I need!  So every supermarket in the area gets a visit from me on a Thursday!
Today however the shops were quiet, as I imagine everyone was at the pub getting prepared for tonights football match against Spain.  So it's a lucky day for me and hopefully the boys in green!

Once I get home, I put the ovens on and get settled with a nice cup of tea.  And then it's showtime! 

I took these pictures while I was baking the Baileys and Red Velvet ones.  Yum yum....

Well this is the first official post on my new blog and I thought I'd share a little glimpse of one of my customers - all the way from Sweden.  This is my granddaughter Tilly enjoying a berry crumble cupcake last Christmas.  Time flies and now its already mid year, so I thought I would say a special thank you to all my regular and local supporters, who come by every week.  Thanks for another great Saturday and looking forward to seeing you again.  Some new flavours coming soon too!
